Thanks to all the people who joined us on this SOLD OUT Field trip. Take a look at our Community Calendar for future events.
On August 15, 2023, we visited a variety of farms around the county that are rooted in sustainable and organic practices, committed to community wellness, climate friendly, and focused on farmland protection. Along the way we met farmers, conservationists,
and other agriculture curious people from the Chicagoland area.
We are especially grateful to the Kane County Field Trip sponsors: Kane County; Forest Preserve District of Kane County; Soil and Water Conservation Society; Kane-DuPage Soil and Water Conservation District; Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation;
The Conservation Foundation; Farm Foundation; and PaleBlueDot.
Kane County Connects ran a story about the Field Trip.
