We invite conservation professionals at all stages of their careers to join the Chicago Wilderness Alliance as we explore Beaubien Woods and the African American Heritage Water Trail, on the South Side of Chicago. Learn about their history, community connections, cultural collaborations, and continuing transformation.

This field trip is an opportunity to explore an innovative approach to recreation, cultural engagement, community-based conservation, and site activation. Choose between a paddling or biking tour in the morning, followed by lunch, a facilitated discussion, and an interpretive walk.

The last day to register is FRIDAY, JUNE 16. The canoe trip is full. Register for the bike trip.
