SPEAKER: Jeff Swano, Founder of Salt Creek Watershed Network and Dig Right In Landscaping
Jeff's presentation will provide an overview of Chicagoland’s water resources, including where our drinking water comes from, where it goes once you’re done with it, and why we seem to get flooded so often. In addition to exploring how excess rain causes flooding, you will gain insight into what you can do to implement sustainable solutions in your own yards to mitigate flooding issues.
