Field Days

Access to advanced learned is one of the most important benefits of being a Chicago Wilderness Alliance Partner. 

Field Days provide in-person opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking. They are coordinated by Green Vision Initiative teams to highlight successes and challenges shared across the Alliance region of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin,

Launched in 2021, our Field Days are in locations that engage and reflect the demographic, geographic, and organizational diversity of Alliance partners.

In 2022, we were honored to receive foundational support for Field Days from Nicor Gas.

Support from sponsors allows the Alliance to offer Field Days at a reduced cost and to provide no-questions-asked scholarships that reduce barriers to participation. Field Days are open to conservation professionals, board members, environmental volunteers, and others in the Chicago Wilderness Alliance region and beyond.
