We will showcase electric-powered outdoor equipment from participating vendors, including:

  • Commercial and residential lawnmowers

  • String trimmers

  • Chainsaws

  • Leaf blowers

  • And more! 

The University of Illinois’ EnergySense Resilience Center has partnered with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to host this event. It is part of IDNR’s Climate Action Plan, which aims to reduce IDNR's climate footprint through sustainable site operations and public education.

This field day will be held at the William W. Powers State Recreation Area at 12949 S Avenue O, Chicago, IL 60633, on Wednesday, June 3rd, 10:00am - 12:00pm CST
