Dunes Learning Center, Shirley Heinze Land Trust, and The Field Museum make up the Northwest Indiana Partnership with major funding from Arcelor Mittal. By combining resources these three organizations were able to work together this year to deliver Mighty Acorns programming to a substantial amount of students. The partnership impacted this year alone:

Although Dunes Learning Center and Shirley Heinze Land Trust are still delivering Mighty Acorns programming through mid-June they are concurrently working on other ways to partner with nearby school districts and continuing to capitalize on the joint resources that the partnership has to offer in order to continue to expand programming for next year.
