The Chicago Zoological Society is hosting a Diversity Forum on October 1st in downtown Chicago at Macy’s on State Street. The Forum is targeted at non-profit organizations and cultural organizations in Chicago, although others have been invited, and specifically those with responsibilities in HR, purchasing, marketing/customer base and diversity and inclusion. The Forum will focus on workforce and workplace diversity, vendor and supplier diversity, and marketing/customer demographics and trends.
Businesses everywhere recognize the importance of integrating diversity into the fabric of their organizations, their programs, offerings, products, and services to drive organizational results and outcomes. The Diversity Forum will provide information to help you further diversity and inclusion efforts in your organization. The morning session features prominent keynote speakers who will address:
- Audience Diversity and Demographic Trends
Dan Martin, Managing Principal, Market & Feasibility Advisors
- Workforce and Workplace Diversity
Doug Harris – Chief Executive Officer, The Kaleidoscope Group
- Vendor and Supplier Diversity
Ralph G. Moore – President, RGMA
The afternoon session features an LGBTQ panel discussion and break-out groups in each of the above topic areas, where you can have dialogue with peers about these important aspects of diversity and inclusion.
