Chicago Wilderness Congress 2020
Join us on April 2, 2020 at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Forum, 725 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago IL
The Chicago Wilderness Congress is the region's premiere venue for more than 700 professionals, students, business leaders, and foundation representatives to come together to identify opportunities for collaboration, build new partnerships, and make connections to secure a thriving and healthy Chicago region for both people and nature. Since, 1996, the Chicago Wilderness Alliance has convened a biennial Congress to highlight regional conservation efforts and provide opportunities for collaboration.
Congress is a day-long conference showcasing presentations from the region's top conservationists and community partners that inspire dialogue, catalyzes new ideas and create opportunities for collaborative action.
Congress 2020 focuses on inspiring and cultivating healthy communities for people and nature. This cannot be done without embracing the diversity of people and experiences across the Chicago region.
The six Congress 2020 tracks include:
Science and Natural Resource Management
Planning and Policy
Advocacy and Awareness
Congress showcases the latest social and ecological research of our region and provides unique networking opportunities for those seeking professional development. The next congress will be held in 2020.
