BRISTOL, WI – Pringle Nature Center will be hosting the annual Fall Fun Fest and International Migratory Bird Day from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, September 21st, in collaboration with Kenosha County Parks, Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser, Hoy Audubon Society, and the Kenosha Public Museum. Pringle Nature Center is located at 9800 160th Avenue, Bristol, WI 53104. “Kenosha County is proud of its longtime partnership with Pringle Nature Center at Bristol Woods Park,” Kreuser said. “I appreciate the work Pringle does year-round, educating people about nature and conservation.”
This year’s theme is Protect Birds: Be the Solution to Plastic Pollution! and will feature local green business and non-profit exhibitors, hay rides, monarch butterfly tag and release, birds of prey presentation, Kohl’s Wild Theater performance, pumpkin decorating, bird walk, children’s music, food, and crafts. Proceeds from Fall Fun Fest go to environmental education programming at Pringle Nature Center. There is no admission fee, but prices vary by activities. Tickets are available for purchase at the event. Those who purchase a “Friend of Pringle” membership at or before the event will receive five (5) free tickets, as well as a free pass to Boundless Adventures ropes course on that day.
