Chicago Wilderness & A Fresh Squeeze Partnership

    Get Outside and Go Green

A Fresh Squeeze and Chicago Wilderness Partnership

The days are getting longer, songbirds tweedle, honeybees and butterflies dance in brilliant wildflowers,... It's summertime - the perfect season to encourage kids to get outside!

This summer, A Fresh Squeeze, the e-newsletter that promotes green living and activities in Chicago, has partnered with Chicago Wilderness to encourage families to spend quality time together outdoors.  Un-plug your children from the television and computer and go hiking, biking, camping, bird watching, boating, or fishing!

Click here to subscribe to A Fresh Squeeze's free, twice weekly e-newsletter with great eco-friendly tips for green living and recommendations for outdoor activities.  And, for each new subscriber, A Fresh Squeeze will Donate a Dollar to benefit Chicago Wilderness and its Leave No Child Inside initiative.

Be sure to check out A Fresh Squeeze's newsletter and website,

www.afreshsqueeze.com/chicago, for a calendar of outdoor events, tips for Green Living in Chicago, reviews of local green businesses and great restaurants and much more!

The Chicago Wilderness consortium is an alliance of more than 230 public and private organizations working together to protect, restore, study and manage the natural ecosystems of the Chicago region, contribute to the conservation of global biodiversity, and enrich local residents' quality of life. For more information, visit www.chicagowilderness.org. For more information about the mosaic of natural areas in southeast Wisconsin, northeast Illinois, northwest Indiana, and southwest Michigan, visit the "Into the Wild" guide at Chicago WILDERNESS Magazine.
