Weaving Culture & Nature in the Burnham Wildlife Corridor

Saturday June 18th

 

10-11AM - Opening Celebration

E. 47th St. & Cornell Dr.

Live performances by: Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago, Nahua Lessons & Chicago Chinese Cultural Center, Lion Dance Troupe

 

11AM-3PM - Gathering Spaces Trail Opens

Enjoy a walk along a woodchip trail visiting newly installed gathering spaces, designs featuring Latino, African-American and Chinese art and culture. Each space will have special presentations and activities throughout the day.

Trails extend from 47th to McCormick Place by the lakefront, shuttles will be provided with limited space.
