Midwest Early Childhood Educator Symposium Second Nature: Reintroducing Children to the Outdoors

Join us at The Morton Arboretum on June 4th, 2016 as we explore the many benefits of nature-based early childhood education.  Learn from experts and peers in the field through sessions geared towards early childhood educators, students of early childhood education, and administrators.  Discover how to incorporate nature into your educational practice and get tried-and-true ideas for encouraging nature play and outdoor learning.

Attendees can choose from a variety of sessions and activities designed to build your skill set while learning about new ideas and trends in the field. Up to 5 CPDHs are available for the day.  You can also elect to register for an optional tram ride to the Children's Garden and guided tour of that space after the conference. Registration for this tour is free with symposium registration, but pre-registration is required and space is limited. Learn more about session presentations, the keynote presentation, and lodging/transportation here.
