Virendra Rawat is the founder of the Green School Movement in India. He has a passion for sustainability and feels that educating young people is one the most important ways to create a sustainable community.

Mr. Rawat participated in the 2016 National Biodiversity Teach In and reached out to the teachers and students who organized the event. Mr. Rawat will be in the U.S. to present at the Sustainable Agriculture Conference at Harvard University and asked if he could visit Elgin High School. We then invited him to provide a talk on the evening of the 4th and he accepted our invitiation.

Registration is not required but will be helpful to us in terms of accomodating everyone who wished to particpate.
